HISTORY OF FOUNTAIN OF GRACE
Before the church started a handful of people began holding weekly prayer meetings in the home of Pastor George Irabor. In the year 2000 it grew to become the prayer ministry now called Fire Aflame. In the beginning of 2003 the Lord impressed upon Brother George’s heart the need for an increase of the word in the body of Christ around the world. As this vision came he continued to pray and seek the face of the Lord for the how and when for it is to come to pass.
In January 2005 the growing need for a new movement of God to begin in Boston area resulted in the founding of the ministry called FOUNTAIN OF GRACE CHURCH. Pastor George asked the Lord “why Fountain of Grace?” and the Lord responded, “Let His grace be a fountain in the lives of His people and let color be added to their lives”. Hence the dictum is “Bringing Color to lives”.
